I grew up listening to classic rock. My heroes at the time were ZZ-Top, Eric Clapton and Journey. As I grew older I hung onto Eric Clapton and dreamed of the day when I could play his Unplugged album start to finish myself. Well, that day never came…thus far. But, I have added some great musicians to my top-ten lists and rivaling Eric at the top if John Mayer. Not only does his face seem to make love to the microphone when he sings, he’s also a dang good guitar player. But…what if I want cake and want to eat it too? See below…
